01 · Dirty coil

A coil nobody can reach.

Dust and grease pack the fins behind the grille. Cooling drops, the room never gets cold enough and the power bill climbs.

02 · Power off

Switch off and open up.

Switch the AC off and isolate the power. Open the access panel to expose the coil. Cover nearby electrical parts and wear gloves and eye protection.

03 · Dust removal

Brush off the loose dirt.

Use a soft brush or vacuum to lift the loose dust. Work along the fins, never across them, so they do not bend.

04 · Foam application

Shake, aim, spray.

Shake the can well. Sweep the foam evenly across the coil, keeping the nozzle at the distance on the label. Keep it off electrical parts.

05 · Foam action

Let the foam do the work.

The foam expands between the fins and gets into the full depth of the coil. You can watch the dirt break down and turn the foam brown.

06 · Drain and rinse

Dirty water, out of the way.

Follow the label for rinse or no-rinse use. If you rinse, use gentle low-pressure water, never a pressure washer. The dirt drains into the tray and out.

07 · Clean coil

Bright fins, full airflow.

The fins are clean and open again, so air flows freely across the coil. Let everything drain and dry completely.

08 · AC on

Close up and switch on.

Refit the panel and restore power only once the area is safe and dry. Cold air, and a job done in one visit.

Questions people ask us

How do you use an AC foam cleaner?

Switch off the AC and remove the front filter. Shake the can, spray the foam evenly across the indoor coil fins and wait 10 to 15 minutes. The foam lifts dust and grease and drains out through the condensate pipe. Refit the filter and run the AC.

What is an AC coil foam cleaner and how do you use it?

An aerosol that sprays a dense foam into the coil fins, where it penetrates and loosens dust and grime. With Aerosure AC Foam Cleaner: isolate power and open the panel, brush off loose dust, spray the foam evenly at the label distance, then rinse gently or let it drain as the label says, and restore power only when dry.

Do I need a pressure washer to clean the AC coil with Aerosure?

No. Follow the rinse or no-rinse instructions on the label. If a rinse is needed, use gentle low-pressure water, never a high-pressure washer, and let the unit drain and dry before restoring power.
