What makes INNOVA CIP 50 different?
- Removes fat, protein and milkstone
- Tanks, heat exchangers and tankers
- Safe on stainless steel circuits
Where can you use INNOVA CIP 50?
- CIP and COP: Milk silos, pasteurisers, heat exchangers, pipelines. Alkaline and acid in sequence, then sanitiser.
- Formulated alkaline cleaner for organic and inorganic dairy soil and milkstone on interior walls, spray-ball feed and outlet valves.
- Formulated alkaline cleaner for tanks and heat exchangers.
Where not to use: check the TDS before use on aluminium, galvanised steel, soft metals or coated surfaces. Never mix with other chemicals.
How do you use INNOVA CIP 50?
- Pre-rinse with water to push out product and loose soil.
- Circulate INNOVA CIP 50 at the dose and temperature on the TDS.
- Rinse with water.
- On acid-wash days, circulate INNOVA CIP Descale, then rinse.
- Sanitise with INNOVA PAA 15 before production starts (no rinse).
What dose, temperature and contact time are typical?
These are typical ranges from published guidance for this type of product, to help you plan. The INNOVA CIP 50 TDS gives its exact dose, temperature and contact time; where they differ, follow the TDS.
| What | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Strength, milking systems and cold lines | 0.5 to 1% caustic in hot water (about 1% in cold water) [source] |
| Strength, pasteurisers and other hot surfaces | 1 to 2% as NaOH [source] |
| Temperature | 75 to 80 °C at the start of a farm hot wash; 77 to 82 °C on pasteurisers [source] |
| Circulation time | 8 to 10 minutes on milking systems; 45 to 60 minutes on pasteurisers [source] |
| Flow | At least 1.5 m/s through the largest line [source] |
What does INNOVA CIP 50 pair with?
- INNOVA CIP DescaleFormulated acidic CIP cleaner
- INNOVA PAA 15Peracetic acid sanitiser, no-rinse grade
- INNOVA AntiFoam FGFood-grade antifoam
Which problems does INNOVA CIP 50 solve?
Which documents come with INNOVA CIP 50?
- Food-grade certification, SDS and TDS on request.
- Certificate of analysis (CoA) with every batch.
- Supports the documented cleaning programme FSSAI Schedule 4 asks for: FSSAI Schedule 4 cleaning checklist.
- SDS and TDS library
What mistakes should you avoid with INNOVA CIP 50?
- Skipping the pre-rinse, so the detergent is spent on loose milk instead of the film.
- Letting the wash cool down mid-cycle, so fat re-deposits on the surface.
- Cutting circulation short on hot surfaces such as pasteuriser plates.
- Running the acid step before the alkaline step, which can set protein onto steel.
- Leaving caustic in the line before the sanitiser.
How do you check the clean worked?
- The final rinse water reads neutral on pH paper.
- No greasy film or white bloom on tank walls, spray balls and outlet valves.
- An ATP swab of the outlet valve and spray ball passes your limit.
- A titration or conductivity check shows the wash was at strength.
How should you store and handle INNOVA CIP 50?
- Caustic cleaners are corrosive: wear chemical gloves, goggles and an apron when handling the concentrate.
- Always add the product to water, never water to the product, to avoid splashing and heat.
- Store away from acids and chlorine products, in the closed original container, upright and off the floor.
- Read the SDS before first use and keep it where the product is used.
What should you tell us for a quote on INNOVA CIP 50?
- The equipment or surface you clean, and the soil (fat, protein, scale, oil)
- Your water hardness, if known, and the wash temperature you can reach
- Pack size and monthly volume
- Your city, and whether you want a sample or a site trial first
We reply within one working day with a price, the SDS and TDS, and a suggested dose to validate on site.
